Immigration: "The Secure American Plan"

Today Governor Huckabee is releasing "The Secure America Plan: A 9-Point Strategy for Immigration Enforcement and Border Security."  The following statement was released today at MikeHuckabee.com.

Governor Huckabee believes in adopting the best policy ideas that address our current problems. Rather than originality, we looked for a workable solution. After examining a number of plans, we decided to partially model our strategy on a proposal by Mark Krikorian, Executive Director of the Center for Immigration Studies, which was first published in National Review (“Re: Immigration: Ten Points for a Successful Presidential Candidate,” May 23, 2005.) We believe it is a tough, fair, compassionate approach to dealing with the current immigration crisis.
