I like almost everything I see about Huckabee. But I have a question. I'm hearing news that Huckabee increased spending and taxes by huge margins while he was governor of Arkansas. I've seen him respond to these attacks, but all he says is "I made a huge tax cut" which no one denies. What I'm less clear about is whether or not he really drastically increased taxes his SECOND term.
Once again, I like Mike Huckabee, but I am a little concerned about what I'm seeing. Just not quite sure what to belive. Can anyone give me some EVIDENCE (not just statements) that shows Huckabee actually was a good governor?

Thanks for your comment Mac - Dick Morris wrote a good article recently that described Huckabee as a fiscal conservative while he was governor of Arkansas which includes some specific information about the taxing issue. Wow Huckabee's speech in Roanoke, VA was amazing. It truly impacted me, and I know that the Lord is with him!
